ARE YOU COMPLIANT WITH THE 2020 SEPTIC TANK REGULATIONS?
New rules were introduced back in 2015 concerning Septic Tanks, which mean some property owners are required to upgrade their systems.
These new regulations are designed to reduce the level of pollution from sewage in the nation’s watercourses. The government is therefore seeking to end the practice of septic tanks discharging directly into any local river or stream system.
Anyone with a septic tank discharging into a watercourse should have replaced or upgraded it by 1 January 2020.
